Love mac salad, this hit the spot

One word: delicious! Great little neighborhood restaurant, where the staff will make you feel like family. The Kalua Pig BBQ meal will both satisfy your stomach and your soul. It's paired nicely with a side of slaw, and if that's not enough you can add a side of Mac or fries. The atmosphere in the restaurant and the bar will have you feeling as if you're dining in the islands. If you're in the area, or just passing through, make a point of visiting Da Tiki Hut and enjoying a great BBQ sandwich. Oh, while you are there check out the Moco's and other menu options.

Love this place! First time here. Unassuming building, fun "hidden" paneled door to be sat in the main restaurant. The decor and vibe inside is perfect. It feels like a fun tiki speakeasy. The food was delicious. Best masubi I've had in a long time. The sauce/chutney drizzled over the pork belly bites was phenomenal. Tiki drinks were delicious. We were too full to try and desert but the table next to us were thoroughly enjoying a dole whip. Definitely worth checking out for a fun lowkey dinner or lunch spot. Get the spicy poki! Really not that spicy and again - the sauce! So good. Fresh fish bites. Will be back.

Delicious sandwich and generous portion size
UBE Mochi
I've enjoyed the amazing meat dishes here several times before (especially the kalua pork), but this was my first time getting a dessert... and it certainly didn't disappoint! The cake was just the right amount of sweetness, with that wonderfully chewy texture from the mochi enhancing the experience. Utterly delicious!

I've eaten here several times, and enjoyed everything I've had. A current favorite is the tropical salad with chicken and their papaya dressing. Delicious, light, but hearty enough to satisfy. I am also in love with their updated drink menu and Dolewhip!!
Mochiko Chicken Plate
The waitress gave us a sampling of Kailua pork, Tiki chicken, Korean chicken and Mochiko chicken. I ordered the large lunch plate of Korean chicken with rice and macaroni salad. My friend ordered the Mochiko one. Her son had a burger and fries with a spam musubi. Everything was ono. That was my second time there. The very first time was before it burned down. Glad to be back. Mahalo.
